Description
ISD is a "hidden foundation within the Foundation", a secret police force responsible for filtering traitors, as well as operational and information security risks among the Foundation's ranks. The department is strictly hierarchical, and adheres to a strictly defined multi-stage research protocol. Potential ISD agents must have a perfect service record and a duration of service from the Foundation of more than one year. Typically, each ISD agent maintains its "official" position to provide a first-hand account of everything that happens in a given department. The very existence of ISD is generally presented as a myth. The "official" responsibility of ISD is the investigation and interrogation of captured GOI agents, although that part of ISD officially belongs to the Department of Security for the purpose of maintaining secrecy. It is required to be greater than Level 5
