------------------------------------------------------------------ Regio Esercito dell’Aquila Serena The main armed forces of the Serene Kingdom. Established in the year 674 by the first king of the unified Aquila. Following the establishment of Ducato dell'Aquila Serena in 288, the Dukedom set off on a war that lasted nearly 140 years unifying the states across the continent. The resulting new land was declared The Serene Kingdom of the Eagle. The first King established what would be the first central army in the region. However a small collapse in the year in the year 522 resulted in it being disbanded. After the following revolts and revolution the kingdom was split into 2. This was until a war broke out in 600, the two unified and once again fell under the eagle. The result was the new Royal Army of the Kingdom.
