Description

𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐎𝐒 ───────────── Set upon the broad plain of the Argolid, beneath the watchful heights of the Larisa and among the fertile lands that nurtured heroes and kings, stands Argos—eldest of the Hellenic cities, where myth and valor are etched into stone and soil. Home to Perseus and Diomedes, the city shaped a people for whom heroic lineage yielded to the indomitable spirit of the citizen-hoplite. Under the guardianship of Hera of Argos and Apollo Lykeios, the city stood as a rival to kings and leagues alike, asserting its autonomy through law, arms, and ancestral right. Here, authority councils deliberated, assemblies convened, and the will of the polis was carried by those bound to defend it. Faithful to gods, loyal to land, steadfast in war, Argos endured—where ancient custom and civic duty walked hand in hand. Will you answer the call of Argos, take up the shield of your fathers, and stand among a people whose legacy was forged before memory itself? ───────────── ΑΡΓ
