Description
"Light, Truth, Courage." Following the exile to the mark, Gwynne Llewellyn, the founder, gained renown through their efforts during the height of the Bedlam of the Mark. They fought on the side of Floria Meridale, serving within their military as a Sergeant-At-Arms. At a crucial moment during Floria’s campaign she was forced to put Gwynne in command of a detachment of levies in order to meet the forces of the traitor Grimwald Brellon. When these forces came to meet the Florian side was outnumbered 2 to 1 by Grimwald’s, however, due to the efforts of the freshly appointed Llewellyn a plan was devised which led them to victory. This battle is now known to historians as the Battle of Grimwald’s Step, after the location of the battle which was renamed after Floria’s ultimate victory. Once the dust was settled and the Bedlam of the Mark was over, Gwynne Llewellyn was honoured by Floria Meridale for their efforts in securing victory against Grimwald with a writ of nobility.
