𝒞𝑜𝓁𝑜𝓃𝓎 𝑜𝒻 𝒩𝒶𝓉𝒶𝓁, 1879 The Colony of Natal is a colony governed by the British Empire, lasting from 1843 to 1910. Natal saw her elegant mountains and plains stained with blood during the Anglo-Zulu War in 1879, between the British Empire and the Colony of Natal against the neighboring Zulu Kingdom. The Native Natal Contingent, a native militia of Natal, saw the most action out of any force under British rule during the conflict, serving as the main army while being reinforced by the deployed regiments of the British Empire.
