Description
The Legion of Honor is the highest French order of merit for military and civil merits, established in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte and retained by all later French governments. Membership in the order is based purely on your service in battle, or to the French nation in one way or another. You are invited into the Legion. Requests to join the Legion be denied.
