Description
La Grande Armée The Grande Armée was the army under the command and control of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte during the Napoleonic Wars. It was known for its military prowess, having scored several victorious skirmishes, battles, and wars. With it, Napoleon conquered much, if not most, of the European world. It brought glory to France in nearly every conflict it participated in. Unlike many of the other armies at the time, the Grande Armée was organized by Napoleon to be a meritocracy. This allowed for soldiers to be promoted based on their talent and skill, not by their social class. Thus, even the lowliest peasant, were he to be skilled and talented on the battlefield, could potentially one day become a general. To join the Grande Armée, you must either participate in a tryout session, or you may contact an officer of the Grande Armée to see if you may join. "Vive la France! Vive l'Empereur!"
