Description
2nd Evzone Battalion 2o Tágma Evzónon 2ο Τάγμα Ευζώνων In 1868, King George I, signed a Royal Decree authorizing the creation of four independent Evzone Battalions, "forming part of the Army's regular strength and intended especially for service on the frontier, and in providing assistance to the Gendarmerie. It participated in the Army of Thessaly under the 2nd Infantry Division and later on as an Independet Battalion due to its courage shown on the Battlefield. (Like the) Wind Aera ΑΕΡΑ
