Multi-Confederational Brigade Group The Multi-Confederational Brigade Group is a regimental alliance between multiple international regiments and units, formed in 2002 to amalgamate Canadian and American Forces stationed in Kandahar, Afghanistan into 1 Brigade Group. The Brigade was first used during Operation Athena, and once withdrawn, was redeployed to Latvia in 2023. Following the Canadian Civil War, the Brigade was disbanded. But in 2025 was reformed, after American Forces in Canada were left stranded without evacuation; therefore unified under the Canadian Army. Current Regimental Command: Royal 22e Régiment "Close with, and Destroy the Enemy"
