Physical Training Branch Keeping the Royal Navy fighting fit, the Physical Training Branch prides itself on it's self discipline and integrity. They fulfil a second role however: As Emergency Helmsmen, meaning when the ship is brought to Action Stations, the PTI's are available to steer the ship and protect the crew.
