Description
The Night's Watch is a military order dedicated to holding the Wall in the north of Westeros, which is the immense fortification on the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms, which defends the realms of men from what lies beyond the Wall. The order's foundation dates back to the times of Heroes, where the supposed 'Others' were pushed back. The men of Night's Watch wear only black, and they are known as an impenetrable brotherhood. Recruits who officially join the Night's Watch are said to take the "black oath." The Nights' Watch will remain neutral in all discourse throughout the Realm, as we are dedicated to defeating Death and defending the Realm from eternal darkness.
