Lafayette County, Louisiana #5084208
Description
Lafayette County is a fictional county in the Southern United States meant to portray a life in the Old South for role-players. Era: (1880's) [NOTE: The Civil War ended in 1865, the group era is 1880. We will not condone any discriminatory or bigoted roleplay.] Lafayette County was originally settled in 1716 by Jacques de Lafayette, a colonial ship captain from France sent to the New World in search of goods and trade. It has since become a county in the state of Louisiana, and in 1803, was incorporated into the United States of America through the Louisiana Purchase. Since its acquisition, Lafayette is a small, sleepy county tucked away and powered by agriculture.
