Description

Who are we? In short, we are a cavalry dedicated faction that wants to turn Russia into a single Muslim state or confederation. Ittihad-i Islami-yi Rus (Union of the Muslims of Russia) After the collapse of the Russian Empire during the Russian Revolution, many Muslim communities feared both Bolshevik anti-religious policies and the return of imperial rule. In 1918, reformist clerics, former cavalry officers, and local leaders in the North Caucasus formed the Ittihad-i Islami-yi Rus. The movement aimed to unite Muslim peoples while protecting civilian rights, local traditions, and religious freedom. Rather than creating a strict theocracy, the group promoted a constitutional system where regional councils governed communities under Islamic moral principles. Militarily, the nation relied on fast cavalry units recruited from Circassian, Chechen, and Dagestani horsemen around cities. Many riders were veterans of the Caucasian Native Cavalry Division.
