Description
After the end of World War One, Imperial Russia was crumbling; as the Bolshevik and White Armies warred for control, neutral Russians fled for safety. A group of oligarchs, in desperation, declared immediate secession from Russia, finding little resistance. In June of 1919, Galician militants armed and backed by Poland and the Grand Duchy of Finland formed the Greater Commonwealth of Russia, seizing valuable Russian oil fields and claiming parts of Western Russia as their own. Establishing their capital in Odessa, Galicia; the Commonwealth began adding other European members to their coalition.
