Description
The First French Empire (1804–1815), also known as the Premier Empire, was established on 18 May 1804, when Napoleon Bonaparte became Emperor of the French. During this era, France became the dominant military power in Europe, with the Grande Armée achieving legendary victories at Austerlitz (1805), Jena–Auerstedt (1806), and Wagram (1809). At its height, the Empire controlled or influenced much of continental Europe. Following defeats during the later Napoleonic Wars, Napoleon abdicated in 1814, briefly returned to power during the Hundred Days in 1815, and was finally defeated at the Battle of Waterloo, bringing the First French Empire to an end. This group is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the First French Empire by recreating its military traditions, discipline, organization, and historical atmosphere through immersive gameplay and a strong community. Vive l'Empereur! Vive la France!
