𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐬 - 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐬 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 "Austin's Rangers" The Texas Rangers, also known as The Frontier Battalion or The Texas Devils, was first authorized in August 1823 and organized on October 17th, 1835. The unit joined the Texian Army on Nov 24th, 1835. The Rangers were a key Scouting unit during the Texian Revolution. It was also the same regiment that discovered and saw the Fall of the Alamo. They saw combat from the Siege of Bexar all the way to the Battle of San Jacinto. It is the only unit from the Texian Army that is still around today. Regiment Cap: 10
