Description
THE CONFEDERATION OF THE RHINE The Confederation of the Rhine was an association of 16 German client-states of France in Central Europe. It was created by Napoleon Bonaparte in order to replace the Holy Roman Empire, which had been disbanded by the then-Austrian Emperor. It served both as a boundary between France and Austria and Prussia, as well as a supplier of soldiers to the French armies. All the states of the Confederation are under the protection of the Empire of France. To declare war on them is to declare war on France. On the other hand, should you wish to apply to join the Confederation, you must be a former state of the Holy Roman Empire, as well as declare your submission to the Emperor of France.
