Description
The Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance was signed on the 14th of may by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and their European Satellite States as a response to West Germany being admitted to NATO. the Warsaw Pact was a direct counterbalance to NATO, and as such was quite similar, though Warsaw Pact forces were much more integrated with each other than that of their western counterparts; The Warsaw Pact was also dominated by the USSR, as the other members were effectively puppet states.
