--- ⚔️ Kingdom of the Yucatan ⚔️ --- ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Victorian-Era Mayan Nation based upon the Republic of the Yucatan as well as the scattered remnants of Mayan culture that rallied together to push back the Spanish. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Though much of the civilization was wiped out, the Mayan culture had several pockets of resistance throughout the Spanish conquest of the Americas. Once the overarching presence of New Spain was dissolved, a new, modernized Mayan culture returned in the Yucatan, using the new steel and European technology it gained in order to establish itself as a modernized kingdom. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Weakened by major losses against the Spanish, the Empire will remain ever vigilant, and will rally against any who wish to colonize our lands!
