Description
The Coruscant Guard was a specialized clone unit responsible for security, policing, and protection duties on the city planet Coruscant. It operated under the direct authority of the Galactic Senate and the Supreme Chancellor. Its main role was to protect government buildings, guard senators, and maintain public order. The unit was composed of highly disciplined clones, recognizable by their red and white armor. In addition to police work, the Coruscant Guard took part in military missions such as prisoner transports and hunting down rogue Jedi. Under Commander Fox, the unit became increasingly authoritarian, especially following the rise of the Galactic Empire. After Order 66, the Coruscant Guard played a key role in enforcing Imperial rule on Coruscant.
