Description
The Black Sun, also known as the Black Sun Syndicate is just that, a crime syndicate operating off of many worlds in both Republic and Hutt space, though they have no outposts. It deals in spice smuggling, extortion, illegal weapons trafficking, species trade, and bounty hunting. The Black Sun operates in small cells on each world it has business on, usually maintaining a hidden enclave on that world as well. A leader, also known as a Crime Lord, is assigned to lead Black Sun interests on that world. However, where there is a planetary interest, there is also usually a sector interest. Therefore, Crime Lords usually answer to Sector Overseers, who answer directly to the Black Sun's leader or his Second-In-Command. By taking advantage of their dominance over the black market, this group, originally called just the Syndicate.
