Description
It is 1812, and Napoleon has crossed the border into Russia starting the Great Patriotic War. In Napoleon's haste to cripple the Russians before winter arrives, he rushes for the great city of Moscow, the Sacred capital of the Russian Empire. Along his way multiple horrific battles occur, some of which being the most deadly, and bloody of the entire era. However after a bloody, and costly march he finally reaches a deserted Moscow. Frustrated he writes the Tsar demanding he surrender, but no response. Soon the Russian soldier guard set fire to Moscow, following the Tsar's scorched earth policy so the French could not live on any Russian land, not even the Sacred capital was spared from this policy. Frustrated, and defeated Napoleon begins his long, and cruel march back to Paris right as Winter sets in 2 weeks early. Now, the Russians harass the French, and engage them when possible. This is the beginning of the end for Napoleon and the Tsar marches his Army to Paris.
