Description
The Republic Court System and administrative appeals fall under the Galactic Republic's Supreme Court. To become a judge, a person must be a Sergeant Major or higher in the Grand Army of the Republic and be nominated by the Supreme Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, or Marshal Commander and confirmed by the Galactic Senate. There may be up to twelve Supreme Court Justices, including the Chief Justice, up to fifteen Appellate Judges, and eighteen District Court Judges. To join the Board of Administrative Appeals, a person must be nominated by the Supreme Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, or Marshal Commander and approved by the Supreme Court's Chief Justice. There may be up to fifteen adjudicators on the BAA.
