Description
The Grand Army of Sweden, an army that once revolutionised the way European warfare was waged now takes a back seat as its southern neighbours take up their mantle as the Military power of the North and East. Russia, an enemy Sweden once stood toe-to-toe with and narrowly lost, now dominates the former Swedish lands of Estonia and modern day Latvia. Poland, Sweden's greatest rival, while also waning in power still stands strong. Denmark, the thorn in Sweden's back, remains an ever present, albeit smaller, threat to any expansion to the East. We take up this precarious situation in 1741, a year that history will remember as the beginning of the War of Austrian Succession, a war that laid the foundations for the larger war years later: The Seven Years' War. While Sweden historically took no part in the Wars of this decade, perhaps in this reality it may. Join us as we take Sweden to glory and defeat our foes.
