𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐘 𝑉𝑖𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑠 𝐹𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑎 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑠. The 33rd Regiment of Foot was founded in 1702 by the 8th Earl of Huntingdon in Gloucester. They didn't receive the 33rd (or First Yorkshire West Riding) Regiment of Foot title till 1782, formalizing their association with the West Riding of Yorkshire. In the Napoleonic Wars, the 33rd would accompany the Duke of Wellington during his campaign against French forces in the Peninsular War. At Waterloo, they took part in the Battle of Quarte-B, and two days later they saw action on the fields of Waterloo. 𝐂𝐀𝐏: UNCAPPED
