Description
The 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘆 (𝗖𝗔) is Canada’s land warfare force responsible for protecting national sovereignty, supporting domestic operations, and conducting ground combat missions abroad. The Army is composed of Regular and Reserve units trained in offensive, defensive, and peace support operations. It works alongside allied forces in multinational missions and supports Canadian civil authorities during emergencies. It’s core functions include: • Ground combat and tactical manoeuvre • Infrastructure protection and area security • Maintain readiness for concurrent operations, from combat to humanitarian roles. • Participation in international peacekeeping and stability missions • Safeguard Canadian interests and citizens at home and overseas
