Alright, before anything—this Mortem Clan thing? It’s about doing your job right and not screwing everyone else over. Which is already where de Blasio would be out, day one. I’m an Italian construction worker. I wake up at 4:30, I break my back, I follow rules even when they’re stupid because that’s how things don’t fall apart. Mortem is like that. You don’t talk, you don’t pose, you don’t make speeches while everything around you rots. De Blasio? That guy talks. Always talking. Never fixing. Likes to tell you how things should work while standing nowhere near the mess he made. On a job site, that guy gets told once. Then he’s gone. Mortem doesn’t care about slogans or feelings or pretending you’re doing good while the city’s falling apart. You mess up, you own it. You don’t hide behind excuses or blame everyone else. De Blasio built nothing, maintained nothing, and somehow still managed to leave everything worse—like a foreman who never picked up a tool but still broke the crane.
