Description
The Great War had just ended. Guns had fallen silent across Europe, and a new government had taken over in the recently annihilated Germany. Peace had been signed in Zurich, and the terms of surrender were crushing for the German people. The German economy fell deep down, so faith of recovery was put in the new leadership. Nevertheless, the new regime was incapable of fixing the even worsening nationwide economical catastrophe. Immense riots began in the bigger cities, and through them formed political organisations, largest of them being the Freiwehr which was formed in 1926. The Freiwehr massively outnumbered the other organisations and it’s command began a takeover of the central government. The revolution spread like wildfire across the nation and the Freiwehr quickly seized control in 1933. Under a new administration, Germany could now recover and look East for conquest.
