THE IMPERIAL GERMANIC BODYGUARD The Germanic Guard, an elite paramilitary cohort of the Praetorians responsible for the safety of the Emperor alongside the Praetorian Guard. It recruited people of German origin from the far reaches of the empire so they have no political afflictions towards Rome or her people. They are among the most loyal men in the Empire, dedicated to securing safety among the Emperor and his family.
