It is later believed to have gained prominence during the Persian Wars, where its ancestral grounds provided sturdy timber for shipbuilding and expert helmsmen. With a culture deeply embedded with the sea, her homeland of Kythira was recognized as a strategically vital stronghold for trade and resources. Having served valiantly in previous conquests, Katharos earned the status of canton under the Diarchy's domain. Knowledge, serenity, purity; the three virtues that have guided generations of Katharoi since. The Capricorns have served under absolute fealty to their Lords, whether it be in times of peace or at war.
