πΏππ π―ππππ ππ ππππππππ The Duchy of Burgundy was a fiefdom of France. In the early 15th century, the duchy flourished. Due to the union between Charles the bold and Margeret of Dampierre the duchy gained multiple counties, including the prosperous regions of Flandes and Artois. This made the duchy of Burgundy become a real powerhouse inside France. Due to it's size and wealth, the duchy was mostly autonomous of the french crown, making a clash between Burgundy and the French Kings inevitable. Time Period: 1212 AD
