Description
Olympiae College was founded in 27 BCE during the reign of Emperor Augustus, inspired by the ancient games of Coliseum battles . The college was established near the Forum Romanum, serving as a center for both intellectual and athletic excellence. The founders, a group of renowned Roman scholars and athletes, envisioned Olympiae College as a place where the brightest minds and the strongest bodies could come together. They aimed to create a new generation of Roman champions who excelled in both academics and athletics. Every month, Olympiae College hosted the Olympiae Games, a grand event that attracted competitors from all corners of the Roman Empire. These games were a celebration of human potential, featuring a variety of events such as chariot racing, wrestling, discus throwing, and intellectual contests like debates and poetry recitations. The champions of the Olympiae Games were celebrated as heroes. They were awarded by memorable titles and so much more.
