Oranges Galactic Republic. #528732088
Description
The Galactic Republic is the sprawling, democratic-federal union that governed the galaxy for over 25,000 years before being overthrown and reorganized into the Galactic Empire. It serves as the central political backdrop for the prequel trilogy of films and the animated Clone Wars series. The Republic defined itself through several key elements: The Galactic Senate: The legislative and governing body, headquartered on the capital planet Coruscant. It consisted of elected or appointed senators representing thousands of member worlds and star systems across the galaxy. The Supreme Chancellor: The executive leader, elected by the senators to oversee the Senate and act as the head of state. The Jedi Order: An ancient, revered organization of Force-sensitive peacekeepers who served as the protectors and defenders of the Republic for millennia.
