LORE: ~ THE FIRST ERA ~ When founded, the Broadsword Coalition's primary purpose was to protect space colonies from pirates and to serve as peacekeepers. As new colonies emerged, they trusted the Coalition to protect them. Following a brief power struggle that split the Coalition into two separate factions, a new sinister vision for the Coalition emerged. Under the current rule of the Invictus, the Broadsword Coalition now seeks to conquer all opposing forces and to unite the galaxy under a single banner, leaving destruction and terror in its wake.
