The Union established a national military officially considered as the Union Defense Force (UDF). The UDF would later serve to prove valuable soldiers, able to support the Allied comrades in the Western Theater of World War 1 and the British especially in Egypt, 1915. But in order for us to uphold our strength, we need the common man to become a Soldaat and become a glorious fighter, with the will and a strong resolve to fight: For South Africa, and South Africa only!
