Description
Northstable Posse “Committed to our Locality” The Uninc Posse founded in 1845 after locals of unincorporated towns now known as Janta and Northstable volunteered to assist the sheriff's office in an effort to enforce laws and maintain peace in the towns. As time went on, the sheriff's office would fail to assist the posse, forcing the posse to break away from the office and become their separate entity. The posse would decide to keep the word "posse" and rebrand as the Northstable Posse. Over time, surrounding towns would continue to grow and the Northstable Posse would be in charge of giving law enforcement services to the surrounding towns that were near Northstable. The Northstable Posse is committed to our locality by providing a 21st-century law enforcement service while maintaining a small-town approach that is reasonable and open-minded to all.
