History: The 8. Brandenburgisches Infanterie Regiment (8th Brandenburg Infantry Regiment) of the III. Armeekorps (3rd Army Corps) was one of the most decorated units of the Prussian army, and took part in close to every battle of 1813-15. The regiment fought at many historical battles during the Wars of the Sixth and Seventh Coalition.
