清 ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬SUMMARY▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ Established years before the Qing Dynasty was even, the Eight Banners are the divisional organization of the Armed Forces of the empire. Originally formed on putting together troops based on their ethnicity, skill, and social status as the Eight Banners served the Qing. Since the creation of the New Army, the Eight Banners were reformed as eight autonomous divisions with their own commanders and functionality.
