Description

This is a group for anybody either interested in learning about or studying the Zoroastrian religion, people who have converted to the religion or are born as such. We worship Ahura Mazda, who is all good but not all powerful and they made coworkers to help them. The main scriptures of Mazdayasna are the Avesta the primary holy text, followed by the Denkard and Bundahisn. Yes the scriptures say you can convert and what it involves, but check to make sure your temple is not natal-only first. God or Ohrmazdr did not create evil/bad and is not responsible for any evil, rather it is from the evil force who invaded their 'work' in an attempt to corrupt it. Evangelical Zoroastrianism today is making a comeback. Zoroastrianism teaches our purpose in this world is to help Ahura Mazda win against the sources of evil/suffering in the world, liberate the world from all people and societies who believe in preying on others to get ahead or creeds based on that.
