Description

In the early 1990s, an underground fighting club emerged beneath the streets of Sapporo, Japan. Originally created as a private social space for members of the Katagiri-ikka, the venue was meant to provide neutral ground away from public attention. The club was founded by Kazuki Katagiri, shortly before his death. Though the family later disbanded, the location remained. Fighters from across Japan's underworld began to gather there, drawn by its isolation and unspoken rules. With no clan claiming ownership, the club evolved into independent territory. By the mid-1990s, it had become an organized underground fight league. Matches were arranged quietly, interference was forbidden, and reputation was earned only through combat. Inside the ring, names, rank, and family mean nothing. Only the fight does.
