We are the Angels of the Baalites. The Great Angel's own. Where other Chapters are made, we are born—forged in the radiation wastes of Baal Secundus, tempered by the Red Thirst that gnaws at every soul within this power armor. We are beautiful. Do not let that fool you. The enemy sees gold-trimmed pauldrons and sculpted death masks, and they think we are artists, poets. We are. We paint war upon canvas of broken cities, and our brush is the bite of the chainsword. The Litanies of Hate sound like hymns when we sing them. But we are cursed. The flaw is in the gene-seed. The Thirst whispers. The Rage waits. Every Blood Angel knows that one day, the Black Rage may take him and he will become our father, Sanguinius, on the day he died. We will see the Arch-Traitor Horus standing before us, and we will charge. Not for glory. For vengeance. For the Emperor. For Sanguinius. Now bleed with me, brother.
