Description
The Pinkton Marine Corps was founded during the First Victorian War, in the Victorian-Year 1901. The Marines first saw combat when they were tasked with taking an Island off the coast of Imperial Chambeu (now known as the Republic of Chambeu) from its Imperial occupiers. The mission was successful, but because the Marine Corps was so new, when the battle took place, the marines were less experienced than the enemy leading to the battle being one of the bloodiest of the entire war, and becoming known as The Battle of Dead Man's Island, a name based off of the Pinkton Army's first battle, the Battle of Dead Man's Hill.
