Description
The Galactic Empire, the First Galactic Empire or just simply the Empire was a fictional autocracy featured in the Star Wars franchise. The Galactic Empire was Lead by the Emperor Sheev Palpatine, its creation came from the end of the stars' original government, known as the Republic. In vast contrast from the chaotic and false rule which the Republic held to, the Empire uses an iron will of many commanders and generals to keep the populous of the galaxy under control.
