Description
Welcome to the group! 💚💚💚 This is a safe place to ask for advice and help throughout your scoliosis journey. Though if you are here as a Supporter, allow me to tell you a bit about Scoliosis. 💚💚💚 Scoliosis is a common sideways curvature of the spine that can form an S or C shape. It is most common in girls and mostly begins through ages 10-16 during growth spurts. Scoliosis is different for everybody. While some have little to no symptoms, others can have severe symptoms that affect their life-style. Though there is no known cure, treatments can help reduce symptoms, such as bracing, physical therapy, and surgery. Mild cases require no treatment. Moderate cases require bracing + physical therapy. Severe cases require surgery + physical therapy. If not treated, severe cases can be life-threatening. 💚💚💚

Growth
Growth history is still building. We hold one measurement for this entry. A trend needs at least two, taken days apart — so this will fill in on its own rather than being estimated. We do not publish numbers we have not measured.
