THE PRAETORIAN GUARD The Praetorian Guard, an elite paramilitary organization responsible for both the safety of the Emperor and Empress and executing his and her will. Within the Guard are the best soldiers and tacticians Rome has to offer. Guardsmen hold powerful authority, such as immunity to Lex Basics and the ability to criminalize enemies of Rome. The Praetorian Guard is an exclusive organization, with recruits being hand-picked by its officers.
