Information: The term "Grand Old Party" originated in 1875 in the Congressional Record, referring to the party associated with the successful military defense of the Union as "this gallant old party", aka. the Republican Party. Description: Generally this a group for people of the Republican Party, however different beliefs are supported, as long as they relate to the party. Not everyone may support Trump, that doesn't mean they aren't Republican. ToS Violations are never permitted. Core Values: The 21st century Republican Party ideology is American conservatism. The GOP supports lower taxes, free market capitalism, a strong national defense, gun rights, pro-life, deregulation and restrictions on labor unions.
