Description
The 501st Legion, known for their blue colored armor, was an elite battalion in the Grand Army of the Republic. They were formed in 22 BBY, under the leadership of CT-7567, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, as well as Sergeant 'Appo'. Their aggressive tactics on the battlefield led to them becoming one of the most prestigious divisions throughout the Clone Wars, and fought in many battles across the Galaxy.
