Description
The First Order, also known as the Order, was a military junta that controlled vast areas of the galaxy's Unknown Regions during the New Republic Era, and ultimately became the dominant galactic government upon launching a war of conquest in 34 ABY. Established sometime after the Galactic Concordance in 5 ABY, many Imperial remnants fled to the Unknown Regions and plotted their return to power from afar, in violation of the Treaty, it began to rapidly expand its military, construct the newer Resurgent-Class Star Destroyers and began to develop superior weaponry as an evolution to its predecessor, The Galactic Empire. Eventually it would come under the rule of Snoke-a mysterious being with a strong connection to the Force-who achieved the title of Supreme Leader.
