■▬▬▬ 𝔘𝔫𝔦𝔱𝔢𝔡 𝔖𝔱𝔞𝔱𝔢𝔰 𝔬𝔣 𝔄𝔪𝔢𝔯𝔦𝔠𝔞 ▬▬▬■ The United States Marshal's Service is a federal law enforcement agency within the U.S. Department of Justice. It is one of the oldest U.S. federal law enforcement agencies and was created by the Judiciary Act of 1789 during the presidency of George Washington as the "Office of the United States Marshal". The US Marshal's Fugitive Task Force stationed in Huron is responsible for the apprehension of dangerous fugitives through the state. The Huron Area Regional Fugitive Force maintains strong connections with numerous federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies in order to help ensure the safety of the citizens of our State's capital and surrounding areas. ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■
