Description
The 52nd Star Corps was an elite corps of clone troopers founded by High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi. The unit served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. They were led by Commander Typhuss (although Obi-Wan was also known to have commanded the unit), and were identifiable by the red or green markings that covered their armor. The 52nd worked with the Coruscant Guard and patrolled the streets in Coruscant's underlevels. Later on after the New Alliance was formed they became an Elite Corps of Storm Troopers being one the more elite units under the Imperial Army In 12 BBY, the 52nd was sent to Kamino due to suspicions of a rebellion on the planet. There, the Kaminoans were waiting with specially trained ARC troopers. After this battle lead by the honorable bounty hunter Boba Fett they were honored by the Grand General for their bravery after defeating 2,000 Rebel troops while they had 125.
